Rachel Cullis Dorsett

Founder and Director

With over 30 years’ experience in the PR industry, cutting her teeth in entertainment publicity for ITV and the BBC before moving into the leisure, lifestyle and food sectors, Rachel is passionate about the value that strategic communications brings to businesses. Strong writing, storytelling, and just good old-fashioned perseverance, as well as an acute attention to detail continue to be the backbone of her career. She founded Silver Pear in 2020 and is committed to creating brilliant PR people to future proof the profession.

Work Fuel:

Actual newspapers and magazines (not digital) – the higher the pile the better
Trevor the family black Labrador (only when he’s asleep)

Olivia Gould

Senior PR Consultant

Olivia is a hard-working and positive senior PR consultant with a conscientious attitude and a vast knowledge in B2C PR after working in the industry for over a decade. She has gained a wealth of experience after strategically devising, managing and executing multiple campaigns and retained PR activity for a variety of high-profile attractions in the leisure sector, alongside leading restaurant brands.

Work fuel:

A good old-fashioned A4 diary with comprehensive to do lists so no action is missed
Picking up the phone to clients or the media to cement those important working relationships
A lovely big coffee to kickstart the working day

Guilty pleasures:

My gorgeous two cats Charlie and Georgie (who is quite the hunter and frequently brings home presents for us, from mice to birds. I suppose that’s her way of saying how much she loves us!)
Relaxing at home with a cheesy rom-com and a big bag of popcorn
Scouring Rightmove on a daily basis to have a nosy in other people’s houses
